New management at German association IVD
August 03, 2012

After 15 years managing the German broker association,
Immobilienverband IVD, Sven Johns has left the group to form a law firm specializing in real estate. Taking over as manager of IVD is Sun Jensch (pictured), who has been active for many years in the industry.
Jensch worked for several developers before working for a leading organization in the real estate sector at the federal and regional levels. Most recently she was director of the National Association BFW Nord in Hamburg. Jensch looks to focus the IVD’s future activities in political work—in particular in the implementation of the professional political canon of the IVD.
"We are very pleased that we could secure with Sun Jensch an experienced person in the real estate industry for the leadership of our association," said IVD Minister Jens-Ulrich Kiessling.
Regading Johns departure, Kiessling said, "We Sven Johns owe many thanks. During his time as national manager, he has driven the positioning of the IVD as a professional interest group, so that the IVD today has a clear-cut profile.”
ICREA CEO Thijs Stoffer echoed Kiessling's comments, adding that Johns' had worked to put the IVD in a highly visible position on the global level through WorldProperties.com. "We look forward to continuing our strong ties with IVD with Sun Jansch's involvement and support."
The appointment of Jensch was effective July 1, 2012.
