Certified advisers of Infonavit are being invited to join AMPI, the Mexican Association of Real Estate Agents, under a new membership category created specifically for them. This opportunity reflects the dedication of the National Council of AMPI to include any professional who works in the real estate profession. According to AMPI, the inclusive membership will strengthen the industry and raise the profile of the profession. Infonavit is an autonomous, social service entity whose mission includes providing information and credit products to low income workers to help them make the best decision to meet their housing needs and establish a homestead in accordance with their interests. Infonavit AMPI members will be recognized as members of AMPI in the official record and have the same rights as other categories of AMPI membership, including access to industry training and meetings where real estate information is exchanged. The new membership opportunity has first been promoted at the Infonavit Tlaxcala office, with plans to conduct information meetings in all Infonavit regions. AMPI hopes to have an Infonavit coordinator for each division responsible for maintaining good relations between local Infonavit chapters and state AMPI offices and keeping the section informed on everything related to Infonavit.
