Belize National Association of Realtors

BNAR® is the brainchild of Realtor® Mrs. Yvonne Hartshorn and has been so for over a decade.  Upon her return to Belize for the 21st century, she has worked tirelessly to get the Association off the ground.  She lobbied with Government, sensitized many agents, and was an advocate and activist for the dream that has now become a reality.

BNAR® was registered on November 1, 2004 and it was not until November 9, 2006 that she spearheaded a network of eight other real estate professionals to join her as the founders of BENAR®.   BNAR® has been incorporated as a non-profit organization.

I personally was referred to Yvonne by a developer, Mr. Daniel Silva three years ago, when I made my move to search for my perfect parcel of land on which to build my home.  Daniel told me that he knew of someone who subscribed to ethical business practices and so, before I opened my real estate firm in Belize, I consulted with Yvonne first, and that was when I was introduced to her vision for Belize -----BNAR®.

I was elated to have found another professional woman who lives her faith, and the extension of her business was an example of this. So that’s how I also pursued the vision and am now on board.  I am confident that, because Yvonne is a recognized member of the National Association of Realtors®,  NAR® that I have aligned myself to BNAR® as the only association which is dedicated to the real estate industry in Belize.
