Broker/Agent Training
is an important part of real estate industry professionalism.
ICREA directly offers training for cross-border client referrals (TRC),
and provides opportunities for ICREA Associations to co-brand and sponsor
international brokerage training (CIPS). Available through ICREA sponsors are
broker/agent training in the areas of buyer representation (REBAC) and residential
sales and marketing (CRS). Below is information about each of these programs,
along with links to information on domestic training programs.

The
Transnational Referral Certified (TRC)
program certifies ICREA-affiliated brokers and agents
to make cross-border client referrals using the ICREA Transnational Referral System.
TRC-certified brokers and agents are included in an online database
for ease in locating an ICREA professional who is prepared to accept client referrals and pay referral fees,
as agreed.

The
Council of Residential Specialists (CRS)
provides training to industry professionals in the area of residential sales and marketing,
induding a special 4-day program designed for practitioners working outside the United States. Those completing the program.

The
Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC)
provides training and support services for practitioners who specifically
work to serve the buyer in a transaction. Practitioners may earn the
Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) or Accredited Buyer's Representative
Manager (ABRM®) designations.

The
Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)
program provides broker/agent training on effectively serving the
international property needs of clients in their local market by
focusing on culture, exchange rates, investment trends, legal issues and
more. Those successfully completing the program and earning the CIPS
designation become part of a global referral network of international
property specialists highly regarded for their expertise.
